Buying in bulk at the grocery store isn’t always best
Next time you go grocery shopping, think twice about buying something in bulk. Yes, you read that right. It isn’t always the best deal to buy something in bulk.
First, you want to check the price for buying in a smaller amount versus the bulk pack, because you may find it is actually cheaper to buy a 2-pack versus a 12-pack, especially when things are on sale or you have coupons.
Second, think storage. Yes, you can buy that 12-pack of paper towels, but if you only go through 2 rolls a month, you have to store excess rolls for many months to come. If you go through 12 a month (and I hope for your budget’s sake that you don’t!) then buy the 12-pack, as long as its cheaper.
