Pay Yourself First

Before you do anything this pay period – write a check to yourself! Put it into your 401k, your retirement plan, your money market account, your savings account, your IRA, or invest it directly into the stock market! It doesn’t matter – just WRITE IT! It doesn’t have to be a lot, just $20 is fine.

You can choose to put your money into an IRA or choose from thousands of individual stocks and mutual funds.
