By learning when each household item goes on sale, you can save hundreds of dollars a
year.
The following sale calendar will help you make a schedule for
shopping the sales. Keep in mind that local markets may vary depending on what products
are native to your area.
January
January often features White Sales where you can find bedding and bath supplies on sale.
Also look for After-Christmas sales of Christmas merchandise, winter clothes, shoes,
toiletries, tablecloths, purses, costume jewelry, furniture, toys, sports equipment, and
appliances.
February
Furniture, rugs, mattresses, curtains, bedding, china, housewares, and stereo equipment.
March
Spring clothing, infant clothing, shoes, laundry appliances, skates, ski equipment, garden
supplies, and luggage.
April
Easter clothing sales including suits, coats, and hats.
May

July
